In the series Exodus, Disundi explore the elemental forces of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water through a unique technique that weaves canvas into a metal grid. This method symbolizes the connection between the physical and spiritual realms, blending structure with fluidity. Drawing inspiration from the Kongo Cosmogram, the artist describes his work as a "symbiosis of the anchoringsickness," where each element triggers an "exodus" - a transformative journey: earth represents stability and foundation; air reflects the invisible forces shaping existence; fire embodies energy, transformation, and destruction; water speaks to fluidity, change, and life’s cycles.
Through these works, Beau investigates the balance between being grounded and in flux, while exploring themes of interconnectedness and spiritual evolution.
