Layers of Venice by Dawit Abebe, The Residency Outcome: Opening Night at AKKA Project Venice

We are pleased to invite you to the opening of Dawit Abebe’s solo exhibition "Layers of Venice" on June 18th 2026 at AKKA Project Venice, marking the outcome of his residency.

During his residency Dawit has walked the labyrinthine paths of this unique city, each step revealing new perspectives. It is in the walking that Venice truly exposes its soul: the quiet canals reflecting centuries of stories, the concealed courtyards whispering secrets, and the very ground beneath our feet speaking of its ever-evolving identity.
