A vertical sequence of Venetian maps slowly yields to charcoal, each layer absorbing the traces of passage until the city is nearly dissolved into darkness. In the final panel, the artist walks barefoot across the surface; Venice reappears only within the contours of his shadow. The work suggests a city made not of fixed ground, but of accumulated gestures where every step leaves a mark, and every mark becomes part of what the city is.
