Biography
When I started painting it was for me an emotional outburst, a way of telling myself. I have never been a talker, in painting I found a way to express my thoughts
Luigi Christopher Veggetti Kanku was born in 1979 in Kinshasa (R.D.C.) and currently lives and works in Brianza, Italy. Veggetti was one of the first Afro-Italian artists of the Italian contemporary art scene.
Christopher is influenced by the desire to portrait Italy, anthropologically and socially, underlying and supporting the multiethnic component.  
Since 2002, his works have been shown in national and foreign galleries. He has participated at numerous collective, personal, private, museum exhibitions and art fairs. His works have been featured in various catalogs, including 30 Tele published by Cairo Mondadori and Forte dei Marmi published by Allemandi.
