The downtroddens series:
"Behind closed doors, I cried for the brother I had left behind, the boyhood friend slain by a bomb, and the hopes buried beneath the debris. The nights acted as confidantes, absorbing my emotions. I wondered if my parents still cared for the garden and if the jasmine by the door still blooming. And wrath simmered a hidden rage against the world that had torn my life apart. I felt infuriated by borders, indifference, and the foolishness of fate. But my wrath was silent, like a light flickering in the breeze."
